(Please call us at 856-694-1212 for a full brochure, and visit www.heatmor.com for a detailed product description.) We are proud and excited to announce that we are your local dealers for Heatmor Stainless Steel Outdoor Furnaces. We welcome your interest and hope that the information we are giving you will guide you in making a wise purchase. There is currently a lot of “hype” and propaganda on the market from different furnace manufacturers, much of which is conflicting, confusing, and misleading. For example, there are several small manufacturers who have come on the market within the past few years that would have you believe their furnaces have been available for decades. As with any major purchase, you want to do your homework before making a decision to buy. Wm. Schober Sons is this area’s dealer for the Heatmor Outdoor Furnace. Heatmor produced furnaces out of mild carbon steel since the early 1980s. They have been manufacturing only 409 grade stainless steel units since the early 1990s and have learned that furnaces will last over three times longer when made with this grade stainless steel. They will not use the 304, 304L, or 316 grades that some companies promote, because of the prevalent problems of stress corrosion cracking and chloride attack, which can render the product irreparable in a relatively short time. Almost all outdoor furnaces are open vessels. They are not under any pressure and are open to the atmosphere. They “steam off” 24 hours a day, the water is constantly exposed to oxygen, and oxygenated water is added frequently. Oxygenated water is what destroys steel and will work against any heating system. The Heatmor is not an open vessel. It is closed under 2-1/2 pounds of pressure; therefore the unit is not steaming off and the water is not exposed to the air. Every Heatmor comes with two to three gallons of a liquid which chemically removes the oxygen in the water when the unit is initially filled. An expansion chamber keeps the water from overflowing when heated, keeping air out of the system. This is why Heatmor covers corrosion in their warranty without “strings attached.” No other outdoor furnace manufacturer covers corrosion in their warranty without a list of do’s, don’ts, maintenance schedules, etc., all of which can easily void your corrosion coverage. You need to understand that if you have a serious problem with an outdoor furnace it is going to be from corrosion. Of what value is a warranty for 10, 20, or 25 years if it basically covers defects in materials and workmanship and has no meaningful corrosion coverage? There are short-term investments and long-term investments. Heatmor gives you the assurance that your furnace purchase is a long-term investment. Heatmor manufactures only full-featured furnaces with grates, over/under forced draft, ash auger cleanout, heavy-duty firebrick, internal flue, water-cooled door, expansion chamber, safety and convenience features, and a choice of 18 attractive colors to coordinate with your buildings. Why would you settle for less? Heatmor delivers efficiency. Do not be deceived. No one (including EPA tests) has ever proven greater efficiency or lower emissions than what Heatmor delivers, and we burn up to 50% less wood and emit up to 85% less smoke. Please
